Nebraska Innovation Campus is ripe for further growth. We want the campus to be an elite destination and attract industry leading businesses to locate, expand, and collaborate with existing partners.
As the campus grows, it expands opportunities for university faculty and students and private-sector companies to develop new technologies and processes for commercialization and create a more appealing climate for business to retain talent in Nebraska. NIC is suitable to support businesses in any phase of the growth cycle regardless of research type, or industry activity.
The Master Plan currently shows completion of Phase I. The first building of Phase II is The Scarlet Hotel. The remaining development will focus on the expansion to the east and of 21st street and West of 19th. This will include additional infrastructure and utility work such as increasing the CRES. Phase III will encompass all land North of Transformation Drive.
