Innovation Commons was the first set of buildings developed and constructed on Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC). A new 65,000 SF, state-of-the-art office building is linked to the historic 4H building, which was renovated and is home to the NIC Conference Center and Nebraska Innovation Studio. The 400-person conference center includes a banquet hall and 8 breakout rooms. The remaining mixed-use space is home to The Mill, NICDC, Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute, and Nebraska Nova, among many others.

Greenhouse Innovation Center

The Greenhouse Innovation Center consists of a 30,000 SF head house and 15,000 SF mechanically cooled greenhouses in the first phase of construction. Later phases could add up to another 30,000 SF of head house and 45,000 SF of greenhouses. The head house accommodates 22 fee clear heights and a state-of-the-art conveyor system, called the LemnaTec, a high-throughput plant phenotyping system to move plants to areas where cameras can take high resolution images of them. Each greenhouse will consist of individually controlled environments, capable of being isolated into spaces as small as 1,000 SF or as large as 15,000 SF.

Food Innovation Center

The NIC Food Innovation Center houses the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Food Science and Technology Department as well as other private companies. The Center includes a state-of-the-art distance education classroom, wet/dry lab research space, food grade/non-food grade pilot plant space and office space. Food Innovation is also home to The Suite Spot, a unique co-working space for food entrepreneurs and growing companies. Users are allowed access to any space and technology and also get consulting on development and testing, compliance, and business planning.

The Scarlet Hotel

The Scarlet Hotel is the perfect blend of small-town generosity, genuine connection, and creative common ground. The 147-key Marriott Tribute is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln branded hotel located on Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln, NE. This property includes three incredible food and beverage outlets. The Well & Good, a full-service restaurant and bar, The Barred Owl, Lincoln’s only 6th floor rooftop bar with amazing views of downtown Lincoln and Memorial Stadium, and The Good Life Coffee Shop and market. The Scarlet is also home to UNL’s Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management, which provides students a real world tase of hospitality management including classrooms and a teaching kitchen.

The Rise Building

This 80,000 SF office building represents the beginning of Phase II of development at Nebraska Innovation Campus. Located northeast of the corner of 21st Street and Transformation Drive, the three-story building is designed with an open concept to quickly adapt to the future needs of tenants in the facility. Existing tenants include The Combine, Spreetail, and Union Pacific.

The Larson Building

The Larson Building, also known as Parkhaus, is not part of Nebraska Innovation Campus but owned by our parent company Goldenrod Companies while Nebraska Nova provides property management and leasing services. The Property is a ten story, mixed-use tower, sits in the heart of downtown Lincoln directly across from the University of Nebraska Lincoln's (UNL) main campus. The Olsson Headquarters

The Olsson Headquarters not part of Nebraska Innovation Campus but owned by our parent company Goldenrod Companies while Nebraska Nova provides property management and leasing services. The Properties consists of two buildings, 1.0 and 2.0, the original project was the first new office building built in the West Haymarket area of Lincoln, the new entertainment district created by the investment of over $400 million in public and private resources since 2011. Olsson 1.0 is a four-story, 80,000 SF building that accommodates over 250 employees at Olsson, a leading engineering and design firm. Olsson 2.0 is a four-story, 70,000 SF building that accommodates additional Olsson employees, as well as D.A. Davidson Companies, an industry leader in wealth management, capital markets, investment banking, trust and asset management services, and Lutz, an accounting and business solution firm. In addition, retail tenants include Everlake and Movement Academy.
